ECORECOVERY SA recognizing the impact of its activities on the environment seeks the optimal use of natural resources, as well as the minimization of waste production.

The Company's contribution to the management and protection of the environment has two aspects, internal and external. The internal aspect refers to the Company's effort to reduce the environmental impact of its operation. The external aspect refers to the effort to increase the environmental awareness of involved sectors and local communities in which the Company is active.

To fulfill this goal, the Company is committed to the continuous improvement of its Environmental Management System (EMS), in accordance with compliance obligations, following the principles and requirements of ISO 14001:2015  Standard, regarding preventive and corrective measures to prevent the degradation of indoor and outdoor environment.

The scope of the Environmental Management System concerns all the activities of the Company, more precise:

1. Management (Collection - Transportation) of Non-Hazardous Waste.
2. Production of Secondary / Alternative Fuels from Solid Non-Hazardous Waste.
3. Production of Secondary / Alternative Fuels using pre-processed SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel).

The continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System will be achieved through the review and revision of both itself and the management objectives that are set.

All the staff of ECORECOVERY SA are obliged to follow the relevant procedures and their revisions, that result from the implementation of the Environmental Management System.

Through this Environmental Management Policy, the general environmental management objectives of ECORECOVERY SA are the following:

• The continuous investigation of taking preventive or corrective initiatives for the more productive use of the resources required for the Company's activities.
• The continuous training and education of our staff in matters of environmental awareness.
• The constant effort to reduce the potential impact on the environment through the improvement of the functions and the educational services provided by the Company.
• The publication of the environmental effects from the operation of ECORECOVERY SA, as well as the measures taken to reduce these effects.

The achievement of these general objectives is done by applying methods of control, monitoring and measurement of all processes that are related to the operations of ECORECOVERY SA, as well as by defining specific measurable management objectives. In the context of the implementation of environmental management and policy, the Company implements environmental awareness programs and communicates appropriately documented information of the Environmental Management System to all involved parties.
